Children's Concert at the Franklin Park Zoo: Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys

End the school year with a hoot, holler and jump at Franklin Park Zoo's summer kick-off event featuring one of Boston's favorite musical bands for families, Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys! On Sunday, June 26 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. visit the zoo for a lively outdoor concert by Vanessa and her band where they will have you strutting like peacocks, hooting like owls, cockadoodle-dooing like roosters, and of course, jumping like monkeys!

Vanessa Trien has become a local rock star among the young and young at heart, packing theaters with singing, dancing and jumping young fans and their enthusiastic parents. On Sunday, June 26, come sing and dance with Vanessa and her Jumping Monkeys band and find out what the buzz is all about!

There will also be an opportunity to meet some of the Zoo’s animals up-close! The Zoo’s educators will present an animal encounter at 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the animals and ask questions!
