Comedy Cabaret

Comedy Cabaret, a night of comedy featuring three well-known stand-up comics – Marion Grodin, Jodie Wasserman and Scott Blakeman - will take place at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton on Saturday, January 14 at 8pm.

Marion Grodin, daughter of actor Charles Grodin, has appeared on The Joy Behar Show, NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and ABC’s The View. She has shared the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle and Robin Williams. Jodie Wasserman has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, BET’s Comic View, plus Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and Comic Remix.

Blakeman is “the top political comedian working in New York today,” says NBC. He was featured on MSNBC’s live coverage of the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner. He performed his one-man show Liberal Jew last summer on Martha’s Vineyard.
