Curator Workshop and Information Session with Catherine D'Ignazio

In conjunction with the Curatorial Opportunity Program at the New Art Center, join Catherine D'Ignazio and New Art Center Staff for this Curator Workshop and Information Session!

Catherine D'Ignazio is co-director of the experimental arts organization iKatun, a founding member of the performance art collaborative The Institute for Infinitely Small Things and an artist and a 2008 ICA/Boston Foster prize Finalist. D'Ignazio is ...also a founding member of Platform2, an experimental curatorial group that operates as part of iKatun.

The Curatorial Opportunity Program exhibition on view during the workshop is spatial process / social form, which runs from Oct. 24 – Nov. 25, 2011. It is curated by Walker Waugh, associate director of the Yancey Richardson Gallery in New York, NY and features the work of Eric Ayotte, Yamini Nayar and Ryan O’Connor.

The New Art Center in Newton’s Curatorial Opportunity Program investigates contemporary culture through the visual arts. It makes possible diverse curatorial visions in a non-profit and alternative exhibition space.
