Evening walk of 1.5 - 2 miles in the northern and central
sections of Hammond Woods. Highlights include Gooch’s Caves, a glacial erratic the size of a Smart car, Moss Rock swamp, Ledge Loop trail – which passes below and along the top of a 40’ high sandstone cliff, and Houghton Garden – a former formal garden. Thunderstorm or heavy rain cancels.
