Hemlock Gorge Reservation’s Annual Summer Picnic

 

The Friends of Hemlock Gorge's annual Summer Picnic will take place Tuesday, August 23, 6 p.m. to dusk at Hamilton Place. You are invited to bring a picnic dinne, along with a chair or blanket and enjoy the setting along the Charles River

Hemlock Gorge is a 23-acre preserve along the Charles River in Needham, Newton and Wellesley and includes Echo Bridge, which was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1982 and managed by the Department of Conservation.  The Friends of Hemlock Gorge watch over the preserve, host annual events such as the Spring and Fall Cleanups, Annual Picnic and document the area's history.
