Come to the Newton Free Library to learn about the Newton-based healing choir JourneySongs and their work in the community singing for the terminally ill and their families and caregivers. In a participatory program titled Come Sing a Healing Song With Me, the group will lift their voices in song and then encourage the audience join them for a few pieces. Their repertoire includes numbers from Jewish and Christian traditions, world music, spirituals and folk music. You will leave feeling uplifted!
