Nature With Watercolors

Explore the elements of successful landscape painting using watercolor. You'll review the works of great watercolor masters, such as Turner, Sargent, and Homer, and learn about some contemporary artists as well. As a group, we'll consider paintings that inspire and study what makes us connect to them. We'll apply our discoveries to create rich, lush fields, sunsets, moonscapes, the roar of ocean waves and the babbling of brooks. Improve your painting technique through exercises and assignments. No prior experience is needed. A materials list will be emailed to registered students.
