Screenwriting 101 is a two-day course designed to help aspiring writers hone those often overlooked aspects of the screenwriting craft and provide guidelines as to how they can best exhibit their finished work.
Instructor: Ned O'Neill, a Walt Disney/Touchstone Pictures veteran whose own writing has garnered him contracts/meetings with ABC Television, Scott Rudin Productions (No Country for Old Men) and Cathy Conrad Productions (Scream), will be facilitating this forum, which is devised to provide participants a down-to-earth discussion about the mechanics of and the realities behind screenwriting.

Mr. O'Neill, a Boston College graduate and Massachusetts native, returns to the area after seventeen years in the entertainment business. In addition to his industry credits, he recently earned a Master's Degree in Screenwriting at California State University Northridge where he was honored with a teaching position for the 2010-2011 academic year. His comedy yarn, "D.C. Goes to Town", was awarded the University's David Levy Memorial Screenwriting Scholarship. This May, Mr. O'Neill was again recognized, receiving the Dean's Award for academic excellence and service, graduating at the top of his M.A. Screenwriting class.
