ABOUT THE URBAN GRAPE:
The Urban Grape features over 850 wines that are uniquely organized by weight, rather than varietal or region. This is a new approach to wine retail pioneered by The Urban Grape called "progressive shelving," which allows the customer to focus on whether the wine is light, medium, or full-bodied. With two Enoline Elite Wine Tasting Systems, customers are able to taste half-ounce samples of up to 16 different wines before deciding on their purchase. Owned by husband-and-wife entrepreneurs TJ and Hadley Douglas, they implement their philosophy of focusing on unparalleled customer service coupled with a “no wine snobs” mentality and a vast selection of wine, spirits, beer and sake. The Urban Grape is located at 7 Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill and is open Monday through Wednesday from 9:30AM to 9:30PM, Thursday through Saturday from 9:30AM to 11:00PM and Sundays from 12:00PM to 6:00PM.
