The Newton Free Library and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO) invite you to a special program titled Taiwan Sublime at the library in Druker Auditorium.
The Chinese Folk Art Workshop, who highlight the beauty of Chinese folk arts and promote an understanding of Chinese culture, will put on traditional Taiwanese performances including:
- Hani fan dancing
- Acrobatic yoyo demonstration
- Colorful cloud dancing
- Lion dancing
- Moonlight rain dancing
- Drum beating
The evening will conclude with a reception with samples of delicious Chinese treats. All are welcome.
