This October commemorates the 10th yahrzeit of Lou Garber. He was passionate about many things: repairing the world, summers on Nantasket Beach, opening day at Fenway Park, Jewish music, the local and global Jewish community – present and future, travel and of course, our family.
To honor his memory and love for Jewish music and kids, we are proud to partner with Zamir Chorale of Boston, which he co-founded over 40 years ago, to present a “Zing!: An Interactive Children’s Concert.”

We are excited to partner with many Jewish communal agencies, preschools, religious schools, day schools and synagogues to promote this free, community event. Children from partnering schools will have an opportunity to learn one of Zamir’s songs in advance and sing with Zamir during the concert.
We hope that Zing! will be an incredible tribute to Lou…a man of vision, inspiration, humor, imagination and boundless energy. Our whole family will be there – including our five grandsons – and hope you’ll plan to join us as well.
