F.A. Day Middle School Site of Two Anti-Semitic Incidents Since Fall
Principal Brian Turner addressed the "hateful speech" and swastika found at the school in a letter to parents Thursday.

NEWTON, MA - Police and school officials are investigating two reported anti-semitic incidents that occurred months apart on or near school grounds, the Newton TAB reported.
F.A. Day Principal Brian Turner detailed the incidents in a letter to parents Thursday. According to the letter “hateful speech” was found written on a bathroom stall in October, and a swastika was found drawn in the snow just off of school grounds in January.
Prior to the letter, law enforcement and the Newton superintendent of schools were unaware of the incidents, according to the Newton TAB. The site said Turner plans to address the incidents at a meeting with staff next week and discuss how to handle potential similar events in the future.
