Fairy is a super sweet guy who somehow ended up living on the street. A kind person had been feeding him and noticed that he loved to be with people so much, he would follow them around. This one-year-old is quite the good-looker. He has a beautiful white coat with a cute little splotch of gray on his forehead and tail. Fairy has settled into the shelter very well. In fact, he now gets on laps, stands up on his hind legs and wraps his paws around people’snecks! He’s always up for a visit. However, when Fairy is done with being petted, he lets people know by getting off their laps and sitting next to them. So his new family would have to understand his limits. We think Fairy would do best in a home without other animals or small children. Please consider meeting this little charmer!
If you are interested in meeting Fairy or any of the cats at The Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter, visit our website (www.giffordcatshelter.org). While you’re there, you can fill out an online adoption application for Fairy and learn more about our shelter. You can also call us at 617-787-8872. We are the oldest cageless no-kill cat shelter in the country, and we’re located right in Brighton!
The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to take in homeless cats, provide them with high quality care in a cageless and no-kill environment, and find healthy and loving permanent homes for them. It was the first cageless shelter in the country and has been in existence since 1884.
