Exclusive dinner on October 27 to support the critical vision rehabilitation services the Carroll Center for the Blind provides.
NEWTON, Mass. — (October 15, 2019) — Boston-area food lovers are invited to experience the delicious tastes and aromas of authentic Greek cuisine during an exclusive multi-sensory event to benefit The Carroll Center for the Blind.
Today, Farm Grill & Rotisserie announced their first-ever blindfolded wine and food tasting to support the nationally recognized Carroll Center, which helps blind and visually impaired children, adults and seniors become active and independent.
The event will take place from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 27 at Farm Grill & Rotisserie, 40 Needham Street, Newton. Those who are sighted will wear occluders (blindfolds) while savoring a four-course meal featuring traditional Greek favorites like tzatziki, kebabs and baklava. Recognized by national and local celebrities, athletes, executives and accomplished Greek chefs as the standard bearer in Greek cuisine, Farm Grill is supporting a nonprofit organization that owner Alex Iliades holds dear.
