An arts festival kicks off, a benefit concert and special drop-off for electronics.

1. Special electronics drop-off. Once a month, the city recycling depot off Rumford Avenue holds special Friday and Saturday drop-off days for electronics. Today from 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. you can drop off any electronic items at the depot. There will be a $12 charge for any TV or computer monitors, but all other items are free. 3. From Russia, with Arts. A Russian art and culture festival will be held this weekend at the and will include classical and jazz musicians, authors, dancers, a fashion show and artwork. 4. Benefit concert. SteveSongs, an award-winning children's musician and PBS co-host, will give a concert at tonight to benefit the Claudia Adams Barr Program at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. starts at 10:30 a.m. and tickets are $12.
