A local fashion show, some high school baseball and the anniversary of a tragic event.

1. Lasell College fashion show. Fashion students at will be showing off their designs this weekend at the school's annual fashion show. Undergraduate designs will hit the runway tonight at 7 p.m. in the Athletic Center and designs from seniors will be on display tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
2. Anniversary of a tragic event. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the tragic Oak Hill Middle School bus crash, which claimed the life of four Newton middle school students. The community will hold its annual Circle of Remembrance outside at 6 p.m.
3. Jewelry trunk show. in West Newton will hold a Dragonfly Jewelry trunk show today from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Dragonfly features handcrafted jewelry from Indonesia.

4. Sept. 11 memorial fundraiser. The Newton 9-11 Memorial Committee has to raise money for . To purchase a one- to three-line engraved brick for the walkway to the memorial, fill out the brick form on the committee's website and email it to Jan Huffman at jan@huffmans.net, or make a copy of the form and send it by regular mail with a check for $100 to Jan Huffman, 27 Indiana Terrace Newton, MA 02464. Online payments can also be made through the committee's website.
5. Go Tigers! The boys' varsity baseball team will face Framingham today in a home match at 3:45 p.m. The game will take place at Albemarle Field.
