1. Rosie's reopens. According to a sign on the door of , the Chestnut Hill shop is set to reopen today at 8 a.m. , Rosie's has been closed for a bit while it underwent some renovations. 

2. Free concert for kids. The Gerwick Puppets for a free show at . The puppet troupe will perform "The Missing Woodpile" for local families and kids at . The show starts at 1 p.m.

4. Newton teams face off. The Newton Panthers 12A Blue softball team will face off against the Newton Panthers 12A Orange softball team today at Albemarle Field (250 Albemarle Road). The Middle Essex Softball League game starts at 6:15 p.m.

5. 'Chef Wanted' viewing party. Head over to in Chestnut Hill tonight for a special as with Anne Burrell. The party--and episode--kick off at 10 p.m.
