2. American Legion baseball. The Newton American Legion Post 440 baseball team will face Watertown today in a game at Victory Field in Watertown (Orchard Street). The game is set to start at 8 p.m.

3. Free concert. The will host singer-songwriter Gail Finnie for this afternoon at 2 p.m. Finnie will perform a number of folk songs on guitar and Appalachian dulcimer.
