All three Republican congressional candidates have been invited to meet with the committee tonight including Sean Bielat, Elizabeth Childs, and David Steinhof. The meeting is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

5. Go Tigers & Lions! The MIAA tournament play will continue today after a somewhat successful weekend for Newton teams. After defeating Billerica yesterday, the baseball team will face St. John's Prep today at St. John's in the North Div. 1 quarterfinals starting at 2 p.m. Meanwhile, the Newton South girls tennis team will face Masconomet Regional High today at Masconomet in the North Div. 1 quarterfinals starting at 3:30 p.m.
