Another prom, more tournament games and an awards ceremony.

1. PAC Awards Ceremony. The Newton Parent Advisory Council (PAC) for Special Education will hold its third annual tonight at . The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the school's main auditorium.
2. Newton South prom. will hold its senior prom this evening from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. at Top of the Hub at the Prudential Building in downtown Boston. Newton North held its senior prom at the Danvers Yacht Club last night. If you have photos from either of these proms, !
3. Land Use. The Board of Aldermen's Land Use Committee will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in room 222/Aldermanic Chamber at . A public hearing will be held in the chamber at the start of the meeting, followed by a working session in room 222. The agenda for tonight's meeting is included in the .pdf section to the right.

4. NNCC event. The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce will host an event titled this morning at 7:30 a.m. The event will take place at 140 Kendrick St. in Needham and is free for members, $15 for non-members.
5. Tournament play. A number of Newton teams will continue playing in the spring MIAA tournament this afternoon. Games include the Newton North baseball team, who will face St. John's Prep in a 4 p.m. quarterfinal game at St. John's Prep; the Newton North softball team will face Chelmsford in a quarterfinal match at Albemarle Field in Newton starting at 3:30 p.m.; and the Newton North boys tennis team will face Needham in a quarterfinal match at Boston Sports Club in Wellesley at 1:30 p.m.
