2. Pulitzer Prize–winning author in Newton. Isabel Wilkerson will hold a discussion this evening about her book The Warmth of Other Suns, which chronicles the lives of African Americans who traveled from the south to U.S. cities in the north and west in search of a better life. The free event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the . 

3. Food drive at Oak Hill. The Student Council is holding a food drive for the Newton Food Pantry this month. Donations will be collected in students' homerooms. Plus, the team with the most donated items will win an ice cream party. The drive will run through this week and end on Fri., March 23.

4. REELAbilitiesBoston - Srugim, season 3. The Boston Jewish Film Festival , the popular television show about Orthodox Jerusalemites, tonight at the .
