1. Newton Open Studios preview. Newton Open Studios will hold a preview reception tonight for , which will run this weekend, May 19-20. Tonight's reception, which starts at 7 p.m., will feature a sampling of the Open Studios' artwork in the auditorium at the .

3. Technology plan. During last night's School Committee meeting, Newton Public Schools' Director of Technology Leo Brehm outlined a comprehensive technology plan for the district. We'll have more details for you on the plan, as well as information on funding, later this morning. Stay tuned!
