A fashion show, a new police campaign and aldermen meet to discuss the budget.

1. New Liquor Store. Comm Ave. Wine & Spirits, located at 543 Commonwealth Ave., has finally opened. The liquor store opened last week and offers fine wine, gourmet food, craft beer and gift baskets.
2. Click it or Ticket. The will be running a "Click it or Ticket" campaign now through June 3. During this campaign, officers will focus on seatbelt safety during their car stops, hoping to increase seatbelt usage across Newton and the state.
3. Fashion Show. The John M. Barry Boys and Girls Club of Newton's will be held tonight at in Waltham from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening will include fashion, food, drinks and a chance to win a pair of diamond earrings valued at more than $6,200. 4. Budget deliberations. The Board of Aldermen will meet tonight in a Committee of the Whole to discuss the mayor's proposed fiscal 2013 budget. The meeting will begin tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the chamber at .
5. Hazardous waste drop off. Household hazardous waste drop-off resumes today from 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and will continue every Wednesday until June 27. The hazardous waste can be dropped off at the Rumford Avenue Recycling Center (115 Rumford Ave.). For more details on what can be dropped off, check out the city's website.
