A forum on Newton parking, a 5K and the Upper Falls Area Council meets.

1. Wally's Wicked Good 5K. will hold today to benefit the Melanoma Foundation of New England. The race kicks off at 6 p.m. and starts and finishes at , making its way through the Auburndale neighborhoods. Registration is still available (starting at 4 p.m.) for anyone who would like to participate. The event is open to runners young and old and participants are treated to an ice cream party at the end of the race.
2. No Parking? The League of Women Voters Newton will host a parking forum this evening at the . will include discussion on the parking rules in Newton, parking policies and their effects. Newton Patch is one of the sponsors of this event, which starts at 7 p.m.
3. Upper Falls Area Council. The Newton Upper Falls Area Council will meet tonight at the starting at 7 p.m.

4. Go Lions! The girls' varsity lacrosse team will face Westford Academy today in a home match starting at 4 p.m. The boys will face Lincoln-Sudbury in a home match at 5 p.m.
