Newton aldermen discuss the city's budget, a group bike ride and BC Class of 2012 graduates.

1. Newton Small Business Center. As part of National Small Business Week, the today at in West Newton. Business owners or those looking to start a business are encouraged to stop by and ask questions. The office hours will run 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.
2. Board of Aldermen/Budget discussion. The Board of Aldermen will meet tonight for a regular meeting as well as a fiscal 2013 budget discussion. The aldermen are set to discuss a number of budgets including Parks & Recreation, Health & Human Services as well as the School Department. The meeting will be held at 7:45 p.m. in the chamber at .
3. Group Bike Ride. Bike Newton hosts a Monday evenings at 6 p.m. starting from the and visiting a number of scenic points around the city. 4. Boston College graduation. will graduate its Class of 2012 today starting at 10 a.m. in Alumni Stadium. Award-winning journalist . Drivers should take note of the graduation, as there will be heavy traffic around the Chestnut Hill campus, including Commonwealth Avenue and Beacon Street.
5. Greening Our Community. A number of students will present ways they are addressing environmental issues during a Greening Our Community event held at the tonight at 7 p.m.. The event, sponsored by Green Decade Newton, will include presentations from students at , , and 's greengineers. A number of Environmental Leadership Awards will also be presented.
