Five Things You Need to Know Today: May 3

1. Grand opening. The new Second Time Around in Newton Centre (67 Union Street) will hold a grand opening celebration this evening from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Stop by, check out the new store and sip some champagne!

3. "Just Think" Expo. Following the success of last year's "Just Think" programs, will hold a Just Think Expo today during school. The programs aim to prevent risky behavior in local teens and educate them about resources they can use to help make healthy life choices. The expo will run during all lunch periods (11:25 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.) and during X block (2:40 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

4. Farm Commission. The Farm Commission (for Angio Farm or Newton Community Farm) will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in room 222 at . 

5. Art reception. The will hold a reception for one of its new exhibits, Ceramic Wall Sculptures by Daisy Brand. The reception will be held at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
