The working group will meet with representatives from the Newton Youth Soccer/Newton Girls Soccer programs about the off-leash proposals at Weeks Park and Forte Park. The two soccer groups oppose the plan and are concerned about how the off-leash parks could affect the quality of the fields and safety of the athletes.
