Food Network Host Leads Local Cooking Demo for Those With IBD

Sunny Anderson, Food Network host, is hosting a local cooking demonstration in partnership with the New England Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) to raise awareness for the 1.6 million Americans living with an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

The event happens on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. at Davio’s in Chestnut Hill.

Sunny recently revealed that she has been living with ulcerative colitis for more than 20 years. Sunny created recipes with nutrients beneficial to those living with IBD as part of “Through Get Your Full Course,” an educational campaign addressing proper diet, nutrition and therapy.
