SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. On June 4 the First Unitarian Society will hold a Concert and Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Chime Bells. All are welcome to the casual outdoor event, at 4:00 p.m. The concert is expected to last approximately one hour. Refreshments will be served. In the event of rain, indoor seating will be provided. The concert will feature the premier of Tower Antiphonies, a three-movement piece composed for the event by Carson Cooman. Our annual Hosta and Perennial sale will be held Saturday May 30 &nbsp;&amp; Sunday &nbsp;May 31 and Saturday June 6, 2026 at the Historic Lyman Estate Greenhouses.
We will have hundreds of plants both for the sun and shade along with a&nbsp; beautiful selection of hostas in blue, golds and variegated.We have a nice selection of herbs as well.
