Gann Academy Rising Senior Earns All-Scholastic Honors

Elan Ganz of Newton earns honors from both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald as an All-Scholastic athlete.

Gann Academy rising senior Elan Ganz was recently recognized by both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald as an All-Scholastic athlete.

As a junior defender and long stick midfielder, Ganz was the Mass. Bay Independent League boys lacrosse MVP and helped Gann finish in second place in the conference. He averaged over 46 minutes of playing time per game and was named to the NEPSAC Eastern All-Region team. Ganz also runs cross-country at Gann.

Gann Academy had a total of three athletes recognized as All-Scholastic this year by both the Globe and Herald. In addition to Ganz, Jayme Callum from the class of 2017 was recognized for softball and Zoe Weiss, also from the class of 2017, for tennis.
