Greater Boston School Rankings: Newton South Tops Newton North

Newton South was ranked No. 5, while Newton North was ranked No. 26, according to rankings by Boston Magazine.

Newton South High School bested Newton North High School in a survey of the best public high schools in the Greater Boston area, according to rankings by Boston Magazine.

Newton South was ranked No. 5; Newton North was ranked No. 26. Dover-Sherborn High School was ranked No. 1.

The rankings were based on test scores, graduation rates, and per-pupil spending, among other factors.
