Have You Seen This Woman? Newton Police Say She Racked Up $40K in Stolen Credit Cards

Newton Police say this woman racked up $40,000 on stolen credit cards in Newton, and want your help to find her.

NEWTON, MA — Newton detectives released photos of a woman they believe have used stolen credit card numbers, running up a massive bill and defrauding multiple people this month.

Photos show a woman in a dark baseball cap, with long dark hair in a pony tail. Police described her as Asian with a small build and medium height.

The woman, pictured in a security camera screen shot above, used duplicate credit cards defrauding multiple victims out of approximately $38,000 so far, dating back to May 9, according to detectives.

She may be working with a man, say police.

"An Asian couple went into Bloomingdales at the Chestnut Hill Mall around 8:30 p.m. and they racked up some charges," said Newton Police Lt. Bruce Apokether.

Nearly $15,000 in charges on designer bags that day alone, allegedly.

"If anybody has any info on this woman, we ask that you contact the Newton Police," said Apotheker.
