House Robbed, Car Broken Into, Man Arrested After Fleeing From Police: Newton Police Logs

Monday, Aug. 21

Warrant Arrest: Adrian Teresa Williams, 34, of Greendale Ave in Needham was arrested on a warrant out of Portland, Maine.

Stolen: Employees at Dunkin Donuts (on Needham Street) and Verizon (on Boylston Street) both reported larcenies throughout the day.

Tuesday, Aug. 22

House and car break in: A Chestnut Street resident called to report someone broke in through the sliding glass door in the kitchen, and stole several items. They told police someone also reported their car was broken into overnight and a brown change purse was missing.

Uh oh: A Peabody Street resident called to report they thought someone might be trying to break into their home around 9 p.m.

Larceny: Someone called to report something was stolen on Carthay Circle around 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 23

Stolen: Someone on Rolling Lane called to report a larceny.

Lock your car doors: Someone called to report someone broke into their car around 10:40 p.m. on Wayne Road.

Break in? Someone called to report a break in in progress on Lill Avenue a just around 10 p.m.


Thursday, Aug. 24

Keys are for ignitions: A Stanely Road resident called to report that at some point in the early evening someone came into his driveway and keyed his cars.

Vandals: Someone else reported vandalism on Hawthorne Street.

Friday, Aug. 25

Traffic Stop: Police arrested Quae Tashon Burks, 25, of Chelsea for not stopping at a stop sign, speeding, then not stopping for police, then driving on an expired licence, reckless driving, and for drug possession to distribute Class D. And for no front plate.

Drunk Driving: Police arrested Jean Daniel Bine-Aime, 35, of Waltham for driving drunk and driving without a licence.
