How Charitable Are Massachusetts Residents?
Not so much, according to new survey findings released by WalletHub. Utah gives the most, while RI gives the least. Who do you support?

Nearly a third of all annual giving takes place in December. The U.S. ranks second overall in this yearâs World Giving Index. But how do the states stack up? The personal finance website WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 2015âs Most & Least Charitable States.
WalletHub shined the spotlight on the most generous of the 50 states in an effort, it said, to âincrease their charitable giving this holiday season.â
Massachusetts landed at number 40, just behind Maine and just ahead of Wisconsin. The most charitable state, according to WalletHub, is Utah, and the least charitable state is Rhode Island.
