How Many Millionaires Are in Newton?
New state data tells us how many reported an income of over $1 million.
NEWTON, MA – Millionaires are almost everywhere, if you just know where to look, and Massachusetts has more than ever.
Newton has the second-most millionaires in the state - 1,284 to be exact, according to new state Department of Revenue data for the most recent available year, 2014. That's how many people reported an adjusted annual income of $1 million or more to Massachusetts.
It sits just behind Boston, which had 2,031 residents report $1 million or more. Not too shabby.
