How Newton’s Garden Remedies Cannabis Dispensary Is Celebrating 4/20
The company's April initiatives include efforts to support the environment and local neighborhood partners.

NEWTON, MA — Garden Remedies, a Massachusetts-based vertically integrated cannabis brand, is spending the month of April giving back to the community by supporting the environment and local neighborhood partners.
Garden Remedies currently has locations in Newton, Marlboro, and Melrose and a packaging facility in Fitchburg.
“Given all the excitement at our dispensaries around 4/20, we wanted to make sure we also spent the month showing appreciation to our customers and neighborhoods,” David Jason, General Manager of Garden Remedies Newton, said in a statement. “This is traditionally a celebratory time for the cannabis industry, not only because of 4/20 and other holidays like Earth Day, but also thanks to new harvests arriving in stores to meet the increased demand. We thought that there was no better way to celebrate than by giving back to the places we work.”

The company's local initiatives follow their win for “Best Medical Marijuana Dispensary” at the New England Canna Community Awards, hosted by the New England Cannabis Convention (NECANN) in late March at the Hynes Convention Center.
“We were so honored to be named the best medical dispensary at NECANN,” said Garden Remedies CEO Jeff Herold. “Healing people has always been at the core of our company’s values, and to be named Best Medical Dispensary is yet another reminder that our mission is to serve the needs of our communities in any way possible.”
