ICYMI: Finagle a Bagel Café, Test Kitchen Opens in Newton

NEWTON, MA – Sesame, poppy, onion or everything. You name it, they've got it at the new Finagle a Bagel in Auburndale.

But this shop is more than just a place to pop in and grab a bagel and coffee – it's a bakery, café and test kitchen all in one. The chain announced the Dec. 5 grand opening in a Tuesday morning Twitter post, which was spotted by Boston Restaurant Talk.

But according to the "locations" page on Finagle a Bagel's website, the café is already open and seating is expected to arrive today. In any event, three bagels on the house ain't a bad deal, and that's exactly what the shop is offering at its official grand opening celebration on Monday.

The space at 77 Rowe St. is located within the company's headquarters and will allow customers to view how the bagels are made and test new menu items before they're distributed to other shops, according to a boston.com report.
