ICYMI: Mick Morgan's in Newton May Undergo Name Change
According to the Boston Herald's Donna Goodison, the restaurant is petitioning the city to change its name.
NEWTON, MA – The artist formerly known as Mick Morgan may soon be called Grande Kitchen + Bar if ownership has its way. According to the Boston Herald's Donna Goodison, the owner of the Irish pub has petitioned the city for a name change.
The city will consider the request April 11, Boston Restaurant Talk reported. It's unclear at this point if the changes to the bar will be purely cosmetic and if the Sharon location of Mick Morgan's will be following suit.
The pub first opened in Newton in 2009 and serves standard Irish pub and bar fare. It appears to currently be in restaurant purgatory, with the website redirecting visitors to its Sharon location. The address for the pub is 118 Needham Street.
