J.Crew, LUSH Among New Stores Coming to The Mall at Chestnut Hill

Shoppers will soon be able to check out a couple of new clothing stores and a handmade cosmetics shop at . 

In a press release issued Thursday, Simon Malls announced a batch of new stores coming in between now and the fall, bringing several new clothing stores, shoes and a cosmetics shop. The list of stores to come: J.Crew, LUSH Cosmetics, Vineyard Vines, Loft®, Stuart Weitzman and Soft Surroundings (the last two ). 

J.Crew and Vineyard Vines sell men and women's clothing, with the latter also catering to children. Soft Surroundings is a women's clothing store, and Stuart Weitzman designs shoes. LUSH sells beauty, bath and cosmetic products that are hand-made from organic fruits, vegetables and other natural ingredients. 

“These new stores further strengthen our position as the premier, high-end shopping destination in the area,” Cindy Kernan, senior vice president of leasing at Simon Property Group, said in the press release. “These brands represent what our Mall at Chestnut Hill shoppers really want and I’m confident they will be successful.”

The press release also says a new portrait studio, Portrait Simple, has joined the mall's lineup and is already open.

Earlier this year, it was reported that  from the Atrium Mall to the Mall at Chestnut Hill. Now that Atrium Mall property has , it appears the move is finally going through.

Meanwhile, construction is ongoing at the  across the street and developers next door at the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center , which will house a theatre, a Sports Club/LA as well as .

MALL AT CHESTNUT HILL ANNOUNCES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW STORES

The Mall at Chestnut Hill, the premier, high-end shopping destination in the Boston area, announced today that seven new stores will be added to its retail mix.  J.Crew, LUSH Cosmetics, Vineyard Vines, Loft®, Stuart Weitzman and Soft Surroundings will be opening at the end of summer/early fall, and Portrait Simple is now open.  

Mall at Chestnut Hill has recently introduced other new stores, including Ross-Simons, Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, Wolford, Kiehl’s Since 1851, Ann Taylor, Papyrus, and the renovated and relocated tenants J. Jill and L'Occitane. The Mall at Chestnut Hill also features the only full-line Bloomingdale’s in New England, CUSP by Neiman Marcus, Sur La Table and Apple.
