Lasell College Graphic Arts Professor Kenneth Calhoun will release his first novel Black Moon at a release party at Newtonville Books in Newton on Wednesday March 5 at 7 pm. Black Moon, about a dystopian society gripped by insomnia, has received positive reviews from Publisher’s Weekly (starred review) and the Library Journal. It was also recently mentioned in the March issue of Real Simple magazine as one of five books to read this spring.
