The Last Day Of Classes For Seniors In Newton South High School Is May 28

Hello Seniors and Families,

"Please know that in these ever changing times as relates to health and safety guidelines, we are working to provide you with the most timely information as soon as we are able–i.e. when we have clearance from Health and Human Services as well as definitive guidance from the state and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

That said, we wanted to give you an update on the end of the year plans as of today:

1. The administrative team has determined that the last day of classes for 12th graders will be Friday, May 28th.

2. We anticipate that senior check out will be sometime during the week of June 1st (specific date to be shared out when confirmed).

3. Graduation date is confirmed for Thursday, June 10th and we will be sharing more details about ceremony times, location, etc. soon after April vacation.

4. Information on other possible senior events will be shared out as soon as they are established and approved."
