MA 4th Congressional District Results: Joe Kennedy Wins

Kennedy has represented the 4th Congressional District since 2013.

Democratic US Rep. Joe Kennedy III has been re-elected as the representative of the 4th Congressional District in Massachusetts.

Kennedy, 36, defeated Republican David Rosa Tuesday to maintain his seat; neither candidate was challenged in the primaries.

According to the Boston Globe, Kennedy received 51,841 votes (71.9 percent) to Rosa's 20,225 (28.1 percent) as of 9:50 p.m.

Kennedy has served as the 4th District representative since 2013. He succeeded Barney Frank, who announced his retirement in 2012 after representing the district for three decades.
