Man Allegedly Throws Chairs at Cars, 19-Year-Old Charged With Drug Possession After Traffic Stop: Newton Crime Log

Thursday, April 6
• Odanys Esteban Urbaez-Puello, 25, of Lynn, was arrested after allegedly running a flashing red light on Washington Street. Police said Urbaez-Puello was traveling eastbound on Washington and went straight through the light without stopping, nearly striking a police cruiser trying to turn left. The suspect was charged with failure to comply at a red light and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Saturday, April 8
• Zachary Joseph Anzalone, 19, of Roslindale, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class E substance following a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington Street and Walnut.

• Two motor vehicles were reported broken into on Hillside Road. The caller said sometime between April 7 at 9 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. on April 8 his unlocked cars were entered while parked in his driveway.
• Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported at the Walnut Grille. The caller told police she was in the restaurant for less than three minutes and when she came out she realized the car was missing. A search of the area yielded negative results, though the car was ultimately found on Comm. Ave. in Brighton.
Sunday, April 9
• A 38-year-old Newton man was arrested after police received reports of someone throwing items over a fence at Highlander Farms and striking cars while yelling obscenities. The caller said the man allegedly threw a chair over the fence and hit the hood of his car. The man was charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
• Angela Klein, 40, of Watertown, was arrested for the following warrants:
- operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license
- number plate violation to conceal
- no inspection sticker
- operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (two counts)
Monday, April 10
• David Mosley-Lott, 23, of Dorchester, was arrested at Newton Highlands Wine & Spirits and charged with shoplifting.
Tuesday, April 11
• Police responded to Payne Road for a past breaking and entering to a motor vehicle. Sometime overnight his vehicle had been broken into, he told police.
• Phillip Joseph St. Hubert, 18, of Avon, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing at Wegman's on Boylston Street.
