Mass. Pike Traffic: 8-Car Newton Crash Causes Traffic Nightmare
Eastbound traffic was snarled Friday morning after a multi-vehicle crash.
NEWTON, MA – A multi-car crash caused a headache for Mass. Pike commuters heading into Boston Friday morning. The crash occurred just before Route 16 in Newton and involved eight vehicles, the Newton Fire Department said.
Delays extended past Route 128 as crews worked to clear a scene that blocked the left lane.
The Pike was a nightmare for eastbound drivers Friday morning. WBZ's Breana Pitts reported a second crash blocking the right lane in Allston at Exit 18.
