"It's a great opportunity to network and to see and be seen," said the chamber's president Greb Reibman who told Patch each year the chamber works to get someone engaging to speak to the crowd.
"This year we're really fortunate to have the attorney general there. Maura Healey has been involved in so many things lately I'm not sure what she's going to talk about."

On Sept 17, following a major data breach at credit reporting firm Equifax, Healey filed the nationâs first enforcement action over the companyâs failure to protect sensitive and personal information of nearly 3 million Massachusetts residents. She joined 18 other Democratic state attorneys general in a lawsuit against US Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and her decision to delay rules that protect student loan borrowers this summer. And with nine of her counterparts filed a Freedom of Information Act request to Trump administration to provide more information about immigrants who have been deported or detained by federal agents.
"And it's all so important to our audience," he said.
Reibman expects Healey to speak for about a half an hour. The chamber will also take time to recognize the outgoing Mayor Setti Warren.
"He's been good to businesses, we're going to thank him, and acknowledge what he's done," said Reibman.
Each year the joint chamber also recognizes student entrepreneurs, one from Newton and one from Needham. In the past they've recognized students who have created their own apps, or opened their own business.
