New England Baptist Hospital Hosts 2016 Gala

New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) held its 2016 Gala on Friday, April 29th at the Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston. The annual Gala celebrated the important contributions of the physicians, caregivers, and partners who make it possible for the hospital’s patients to live life with movement restored.

The evening included a special performance by professional dancer and NEBH hip replacement patient Naomi Turner and partner Adam Spencer as well as performers from the Boston Circus Guild Troupe. Live music was performed by the Blake Band of New York City. With nearly 70 sponsoring organizations and individuals and more than 300 supporters attending, the Gala brought together a diverse and notable group of guests, includingBoston Celtics Legend Cedric Maxwell, to celebrate New England’s only hospital dedicated to orthopedic care.

Funds raised through the Gala allow NEBH to advance its goals to build a clinical research enterprise focused on musculoskeletal treatment; bolster the hospital’s critical programs, and strengthen the institutional commitment to medical education and nursing excellence.
