Newton 2021 Christmas Tree Collection: See Pickup Dates
Newton residents can dispose of Christmas trees during two weeks in January.
NEWTON, MA — Newton will collect Christmas trees at the curb for two weeks in 2022.
Residents can put trees out at the curb for collection from Jan. 3 to Jan. 14 on regular trash and recycling days. The city will only collect organic, bare trees - all decorations must be removed - and do not place your tree in a plastic bag.
In addition, do not place your tree out earlier than your collection day or you could be subject to a fine.

Trash and recycling collection in Newton will occur as normal on New Years Eve and the Monday after New Years Day.
