Crash Into Newton Home Leaves One Hospitalized

A two-car accident at Boylston Street and Circuit Avenue resulted in one car crashing into a nearby house.

Newton, MA – A two-car crash in Newton Wednesday morning left one driver in the hospital.

The collision resulted in one car crashing into a house at Boylston Street and Circuit Avenue, according to a tweet from the Newton Fire Department.

One patient was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital from the scene, the Newton Fire Department reported.

Lt. Eric Fricke of the Newton Fire Department told the Boston Globe that residents of the house were unharmed, and the patient was the driver of one of the cars.

The accident resulted in delays on Route 9 eastbound back to Route 128 as National Grid worked on the scene; Massachusetts State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
