Newton Fire: Waban Blaze Knocked Down
Crews responded to a structure fire on Windsor Road early Monday morning.

NEWTON, MA – A Monday morning fire in Newton's Waban neighborhood has been knocked down, the fire department said. The fire was reported around 7:50 a.m. on Windsor Road.
Flames were showing on the outside of the home near the chimney. Crews checked for an interior fire.
The fire was knocked down around 8:30 a.m., officials said. The cause is under investigation.
