Newton Firefighters Respond To Porch Fire On Winter Street

NEWTON, MA — Newton firefighters responded to a porch fire late Tuesday morning, said the department in a Twitter post.

The fire broke out just after 11:30 a.m. at a home on Winter Street.

The flames were knocked down shortly after and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
